The Building Performance Association believes in celebrating the individuals who are making an impact on the home/building performance and weatherization industries — the innovators, the trailblazers, and the tireless leaders whose vision and dedication have strengthened the industry.
Linda Wigington Leadership Award
The Linda Wigington Leadership Award celebrates visionary leaders doing extraordinary work to strengthen the home performance and weatherization industry. This award showcases individual excellence in leadership as demonstrated by outstanding initiative, the impact of work, and inspiration to others. The Linda Wigington Leadership Award was re-named in 2014 to honor Linda Wigington, founder of the Affordable Comfort Conference.
The 2019 Linda Wigington Leadership Award was awarded posthumously to Mike Rogers who tragically passed away in 2018. Mike was passionate about establishing a strong, diverse, and qualified workforce and we were honored to celebrate his legacy at the National Home Performance in Chicago, IL where his daughter, Sabine Rogers, accepted the award on his behalf. Read our tribute to Mike here.
