Some Connecticut business groups are using the COVID crisis to petition the Connecticut Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA) to drastically cut funding for energy efficiency programs.
A motion filed by Connecticut Industrial Energy Consumers seeks “emergency relief” to shut down energy efficiency programs in Connecticut. BPA and state allies are fighting against this job-crushing motion filed its objections and response on May 1, 2020.
