Learning Together: BPA Launches COVID-19 Back to Work Resource Page

Keith Aldridge, Chief Strategy Officer, Building Performance Association
Wednesday, July 8, 2020

Navigating home performance in a pandemic isn’t easy, which is why the Building Performance Association has created a resource page to help you with your business. Whether you’ve never stopped working, or you’re trying to get back to work, one thing is certain: We all need to learn new ways of doing business while protecting the safety of workers and customers.

The overall goal of our Back to Work Resources page is to provide you with easy access to best practices. This includes:

  • Training links to several webinars and one online course that you may want to use as part of your research and/or employee training program.
  • Guidance documents from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), utilities, state health departments, and other organizations.
  • General information, such as industry documents, article links, and position papers.

While we’ve made every effort to ensure the guidance contained in these resources is up-to-date, information and knowledge about COVID-19 is rapidly changing. We will update our resource page as new information becomes available, but we encourage you to help us. If you see a helpful article, great business training, or your state has issued a helpful document, please send it our way.

We also encourage you to provide us feedback about your experiences as you work during the pandemic, particularly your innovations in meeting the challenges presented by this (hopefully) once-in-a-lifetime situation.

Text Updates, Town Hall Discussion & Informal Conversations

In addition to our resources page, we will continue to serve our industry by providing updates via text message when new regulations, resources, and changes happen as a result of COVID-19. Sign up to receive the latest information here.

We will also be hosting an informal conversation for industry professionals later this month. Join us for An Industry Town Hall: Working During the COVID-19 Pandemic - Conversations from the Field, to share ideas, ask questions, and provide feedback on the current environment. This is a chance for our community to learn from one another. The Town Hall Meeting will be taking place via Zoom on Wednesday, July 23, 2020, at 3 PM ET. Sign up here.

As we work to navigate this unprecedented situation together, we plan on continuing the conversation. We’re currently working on a live-streamed video show that will regularly engage industry experts and business owners alike. More details to come in the following weeks—stay tuned!
