What do you enjoy the most about your role at HPC?
I most enjoy the opportunity to work side-by-side with our hard working staff. Although we are small in number, we are able to accomplish big things due to our collaborative teamwork. It’s truly a family atmosphere at HPC where you know everyone here cares about you and has the same enthusiasm and dedication to our success. As Customer Service Manager, I really enjoy getting to know our attendees from coast to coast and then putting a face to a name at our annual national conference.\
What is your proudest accomplishment at HPC?
My proudest accomplishment over the past 6 ½ years at HPC was to witness how our team was able to grow our national conference this year to our largest audience to date – over 1,900 attendees! It has been amazing to see how HPC has adapted and thrived while meeting the changing needs of our industry since I started.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Outside of the office, I most enjoy spending time with my husband, two daughters and Shih Tzu. Although it is quite hectic most days, and always requires a great deal of strategic planning on our part, it is incredible to watch my daughters participate and grow in their many, year-round extracurricular activities. These days, you can always find us cheering for the girls at the softball fields. Our favorite thing to do as a family is to vacation at the same beach we have been visiting for 10 years.
Tell us a fun fact about yourself we may not know.
My daily priority is working out every morning before everyone in the house is awake. Around five years ago, I decided to get serious about my health and started this fitness journey that would eventually lead me to losing nearly 100 pounds. After my significant weight loss, I realized that becoming strong and fit was more important than a number. I now love pushing myself to complete programs that really challenge myself and build strength. It has become my passion and there is truly nothing I enjoy doing more. More than anything, I love that my young daughters see that I focus on health, being strong and staying active.
